Before you apply, please make sure you meet the scholarship requirements.
In order for your application to be complete, you will need to submit the following items:
- The Application Form (please save/download, complete, and email with the rest of your completed materials)
- Responses to each of the following Essay Prompts (minimum of 500-700 words, total)
- Part I: What inspired you to become a lawyer, and/or what type of impact will becoming a lawyer allow you to have on the world? What do you believe you will bring to the legal profession?
- Part II: What do you believe is the most valuable skill or lesson that you have learned during your tenure as a pre-law magnet student at Palm Beach Lakes?
- Part III:
- For current high school seniors: Describe a community service or volunteer activity you have been or are currently engaged in, and what that time spent serving others means to you.
- For current college students/graduates: Discuss any law-related courses, extra-curricular activities, or internships that you have been involved in during college, and how they have impacted your decision to become a lawyer. If not applicable, discuss how your major/program of study or another experience during college has impacted your decision to go to law school.
- At least 1 letter of recommendation from someone other than an individual associated with the Pre-Law Magnet Program.
- Transcripts:
- For current high school seniors, submit your most recent high school transcript and your most recent dual enrollment college transcript (if any).
- For current college students/graduates, submit your most recent undergraduate transcript, and your most recent graduate/law school transcript (if any).
